OU SCHUSTERMAN LIBRARY ACCESS - NEW MEMBER BENEFIT

Thanks to a partnership with the OU Schusterman Library, TCMS Members receive access to the OU Library. Due to COVID-19, certain restrictions are in place.

TCMS Members can search the online catalog, which includes electronic articles: https://ou-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/primo-explore/search?vid=OUTULSA2&lang=en_US.

For online articles, access to full text for most of the articles may be limited. But members can use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to request full text. To use the this service, members should contact the Interlibrary Loan technician, Vicki Ford, (vicki-ford@ouhsc.edu), and identify yourself as a member of the Tulsa County Medical Society. She will verify membership, and then will set up an ILL account for members, and provide a password and instructions for logging on. To request a literature search, members should go to https://outlibrary.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1HsFddoWL77b6C1 and complete the form. Members can also use the ‘Chat’ feature on the library home page (https://library.tulsa.ou.edu) or contact the library through the ‘Contact Page’ and identify themselves as members of TCMS.

Thank you to the OU Schusterman Library for this benefit to all TCMS Members.

About the OU Schusterman Library

The Library is an active partner in accomplishing the educational, research, and community service goals of the University. We strive to connect members of the OU-Tulsa community to outstanding information services, collections, and technology. The 22,000-square-foot library was completed in 2011 and includes a digital exhibit space, an information commons with 24 workstations, and four group study rooms. The second floor features a quiet reading room, twenty study carrels, and the print collection of books and journals.

Our local collections include more than 19,000 books and audiovisual materials, along with current subscriptions to about 300 print journals. In addition, we coordinate with the Norman Campus and Health Sciences Center to provide access to thousands of electronic journals, e-books, databases, and images. Materials not immediately available on-campus may be obtained from libraries nationwide.
